Some of these benefits are:  anti-inflammatory agent, aiding digestion, and helping to control blood sugar. The biggest benefit of turmeric is pain relief, for people who suffer from arthritis, and other joint  pain diseases. Its anti-inflammatory property helps relieve joint pain when used regularly. The best way to consume turmeric is not necessarily eating it as an herb. That would require eating a lot of turmeric herbs everyday. 

The easier way to take Turmeric,  that results in much more potency, is by taking Turmeric as an herbal supplement. Turmeric Supplement typically comes in 1000 milligram capsules. Walnuts, Almonds and Other Tree Nuts

Salmon and Tuna


You may not be a big fan of fish, but fish, high in Omega 3 is an anti-inflammatory agent. Salmon and Halibut are not fishy tasting, and enjoyed by most people. Including a four ounce serving of Salmon or Tuna in your diet twice a week, is a good part of a healthy diet that will help reduce joint pain due to arthritis. A side benefit is,  Omega 3 helps prevent heart disease and stroke. If you don’t like Salmon or tuna, you can get a high amount of Omega 3 through high quality supplements as an alternative. 


Berries

Berries  that include raspberries, strawberries, blackberries and blueberries and have anti-inflammatory properties that relieve or prevent joint pain. Berries contain polyphenolic compounds and anthocyaidins. Combined, these properties are super antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agents, that fight diseases, guard against cancer, and help relieve or prevent joint pain.

Berry consumption is also associated with lower risk of heart disease, Alzheimer disease, and diabetes. Berries are numerous in the summer but you can eat frozen berries during other times of the year. Consider adding a cup of frozen berries, a cup of almond milk and a few packets of natural sweetener like Stevia in a blender to make an amazing nutritious smoothie. Dark Chocolate

It’s the Cocoa in dark chocolate that is the agent to reduce inflammation. Cocoa also helps lower blood sugar. Keep in mind that dark chocolate is not Milk Chocolate. For chocolate to be effective, it must contain at least 70 percent Cocoa. Unfortunately milk chocolate contains only 10 percent Cocoa and a lot of sugar.

Dark Chocolate that is 70 percent or more Cocoa can be very bitter, so it’s best  paired with berries or tea. When combined with Green Tea, you get incredible joint pain fighting nutrients that’s also a great way to relax and enjoy.

Because many dark chocolate bars may be high in calories, limit intake to one ounce chocolate per day. Make sure the dark chocolate contains 70 percent or more Cocoa.


Olive Oil
